Placing an Order

By placing an order, you are offering to buy goods from us. We will let you know that we have received your order but this does not mean that your order has been accepted. There is no contract between us until we have accepted your order. Xpress Cylinder Spares reserve the right to not accept your order. All items purchased in the UK are plus VAT at the standard rate. 

When we have accepted your order, we will confirm this in the form of an invoice, usually by email. Please keep your confirmation safe in case of any query. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the order cancellation process detailed below. 

If we are unable to supply you with the goods you require we will contact you with an offer of alternative goods. You do not have to accept this offer and can cancel your order. 

Xpress Cylinder Spares regret that we are unable to accept any liability for information obtained from third parties (- such as part numbers obtained from a manufacturer). 
 

Pricing

Prices quoted on our website exclude VAT and the cost of delivery.

We reserve the right to change the prices of items from time to time. Please note that this will not affect the status of confirmed orders and in such instances you will only pay the price contained in your order confirmation. In the event the price of an unconfirmed order changes, we will let you know and give you the option of cancelling the order. 

Carriage charges will be applied according to the delivery location and service requested. The delivery costs will be clearly shown at checkout stage. Please ensure you are fully aware of the carriage charges before confirming your order. 

In an instance of a genuine pricing error on the website then Xpress Cylinder Spares will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.

Delivery

Stock items should be delivered within the timescale advised at time of purchase depending on the carriage chosen. 

Please note that delivery times may vary for non-stock items, depending on the product. If an item is not in stock, we will contact you and advise an anticipated delivery date. You have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

It should be appreciated that all delivery timescales are estimated and NOT guaranteed as this service is provided via a third party. We accept no responsibility for consequential loss suffered by the purchaser for delayed or non-delivery of goods.

Damage

We would advise that all goods are received and checked before booking an installer. 

If goods are received damaged or short shipped you must contact the office to record the issue and obtain a returns reference within 3 working days (Monday to Friday) of receipt. Failure to do so will result in your claim for short shipment or damages being declined.

If a parcel arrives and is visibly damaged, you must sign for the goods as damaged if the carrier will not let you check the items. Alternatively, you have the right to refuse delivery of damaged goods. Items not marked as damaged may not be eligible for claims under shipping damages.  

Any damage on deliveries (- no matter how small) should be marked on the courier’s paperwork or handheld computer. A failure to note damage such may result in any claims being declined. 

If any goods are refused these will be sent back to Xpress Cylinder Spares and we will inspect and replace as appropriate. 

We reserve the right for the manufacturers to test damaged or faulty items before a replacement or refund is issued.

Please be aware that it is you must make any third party signing for goods aware of the above information if goods are being delivered direct to site or being signed for by someone other than yourself. We will not be held responsible for loss or damages where goods are signed for by a third party of yours and are not checked upon delivery.  

Returning Products

Goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery and will be reimbursed by the method used to pay for the original transaction. Items should be parcelled securely to minimise the potential for damage and the paperwork (- issued by our team to allow identification of the transaction on their return) should be included. Items should be returned via an appropriate carrier at your cost unless we have supplied alternative goods that you have not found acceptable. 

Since we do not cover damages or loss of goods in transit when being returned to us, we strongly recommend that all goods are sent back by a recorded and insured means.

Returns may be subject to a 10% restocking charge.

Disclaimer and limitations

Warranty

Any warranties given by the manufacturers of products supplied are not enforceable against Xpress Cylinder Spares Limited, but only against the person or company giving them.

 
Technical Advice and Information

Any technical query or problem should be directed to an appropriately qualified person. We highlight that Xpress Cylinder Spares are retailers and while our team may be to offer some technical advice, such advice should not be relied upon without verification from a suitably qualified professional. 

Xpress Cylinder Spares does not represent or warrant that the information (-including text, graphics, images and links) available on this site is accurate, complete or current.

Pricing and Availability

We reserve the right to change price and availability of any item offered on this site without subject to notice.
